Welcome to the home page of the Costa Blanca Astronomical Society. We are a multi-National English speaking group of about 80 members based in and around Denia on the Costa Blanca, in Spain. We are affiliated to the Federation of Astronomical Societies in the UK and have links with Spanish speaking Astronomy groups through our membership of the Asociacion Astronomia de Marina Alta (AAMA).

We meet monthly to hear talks on astronomy topics. We also arrange observing sessions, beginners courses and public meetings, addressed by well known professional astronomers and commentators on astronomy, to promote a wider interest in astronomy.

The rest of the site provides more detailed information on our activities and astronomy issues of interest. Be sure to check the society meetings and public events pages for the most up to date information and see the links section on the right of every page for links to other major astronomy sites.

If you are interested in joining us or if you have a link which you think will be of interest to other members, drop us a line at cbastronomy@gmail.com, Our annual fees are usually 5 Euros but are subject to confirmation at our annual general meetings.
